NPF keeping Naga political issue alive, says Kuzholuzo Nienu

Leader of NPF Legislature Party and co-chairman ofUDA, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu today claimed thatNPF is the only political party that i s keeping alive the Naga political issue and for which the N PF was given birth on Naga soil during the worst turmoil in i960s.As per a press release issued by Naga People's Front, Central Headquarters, NDPP leaders led by Peren region vice president Iteichu Zeliang and other NDPP leaders joined NPF.
Speaking at Peren town hall during the party's reorganization of Peren Division, the NPF leader said that NPF is not a party that chases after power or position but stands for the cause of the Naga people and the welfare of the Naga people as its priority.
He also said that NPF does not belong or is controlled by any individual or leader but the party belongs to the Naga people and pointed out that any Naga people is welcome to the NPF.
The leader also stated that since the party is deeply rooted to the Naga society, with or without its representative in the Assembly, the NPF party will exist and continue to work for the Naga people and its well-being and added that the grassroots of the party is still intact though 21 of its MLAs have been defected to NDPP.
The 'Chief Ministerial' candidate of the NPF also said that many of the office bearers of the ruling party resigning and joining the NPF is an indication of lack of confidence in its leadership.
Azo Nienu also maintained that NPF is the only party which has been battling for the true cause of the Naga people and continued that the NPF will form the next Government in Nagaland.

secretary general of the party, reiterated that NPF belongs to the entire Naga people and as such Naga people should be a part of the NPF party.
He also mentioned that NPF has given a platform for the Nagas to be united and to express Naga nationalism.
The secretary general called upon the people to support NPF for the better future of the Naga people.
