Entrust Gaidinliu museum project to national company: Zeliangrong body

All Zeliangrong Organisation (Manipur Valley) has strongly called for handing over the construction work on freedom fighter Rani Gaidinliu's museum to a reputed national company to ensure quality control and timely completion.
According to All Zeliangrong Organisation (Manipur Valley) president Maibon Phaomei, government of Manipur has fully prepared to construct freedom fighter Rani Gaidinliu's museum at her birth place, Nungkao in Tamenglong district and chief minister N Biren is very keen to take up the project promptly.
The project being a Central government sponsored one, All Zeliangrong Organisation and people want the museum to be historic and beneficial for the future generation of Manipur.
Accordingly, quality control is very much necessary and handing over the project to a local contractor would not be able to maintain quality, he said, and drew attention of chief minister N Biren for floating tender for the project and handing over the same to a national company to ensure quality control.
He also appealed to underground groups and others not to disturb the project in any manner but extend cooperation towards ensuring completion of the project in time.
