PFA rescues Himalayan black bear cub, slow loris, nightjar

People For Animals has rescued one Himalayan Black Bear cub, Nightjar and a Slow Loris.
The cub Himalayan Black Bear was rescued and handed over to People For Animals by one Telem Arunkumar of Langei Village.
Arunkumar had bought the bear from hunters at Ukhrul, said a statement of PFA today.
The bear will be handed over to Eroishemba Zoological garden, said PFA.
Meanwhile, on Yuman Dipu of Khurai Ahongei Leikai rescued and handed over a nightjar, a nocturnal bird said PFA and added that one Sanathoi of Heirok Tomal Makhong has also handed over a slow loris to them.
The nightjar and the slow loris will be released in the wild after consulting department concerned, added PFA urging all to stop poaching wild animals and birds.
