Grant-in-aid to 4 aided and 24 private Colleges

Imphal, May 27 2014:
Higher Education Department, Government of Manipur would be releasing lump-sum annual grant-in-aid to 4 Aided Colleges and 24 Private Colleges tomorrow, according to an official report from Higher Education Department, Government of Manipur.
The Grant-in-Aid amount in cheques may be collected from the office of Education Minister Moirangthem Okendro at Secretariat North Block from 4 pm tomorrow.
As per the report, the aided colleges which would avail the lump sum grant-in-aid are Liberal College, Luwangshangbam; South East Manipur College, Komlathabi; Mayai Lambi College, Yumnam Huidrom and Kakching Khunou College, Kakching Khunou.
The Private Colleges which would be getting the aid are Regional College, Lilong Chajing; IRE Wangjing; N.Birahari College, Khundrakpam; Kamakhya Pemton College, Hiyangthang; Kanggui Christian College; Western College, Konthoujam; Universal College, Yairipok; Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal; Mount Pisgah College; Pole Star College, Wabagai; Shri Shri Gourgobind Girl's College, Khurai; Mt.
Everest College, Senapati; Mangolnganbi College, Hiyangthang; Rayburn College, Churachandpur; Kumbi College, Kumbi; Bethany Christian College, Churachandpur; Royal Academy of Law, Oinam; RK Sanatombi College of Education; Trinity Teacher Training College; Kanan Devi Memorial College of Education, Pangei; Thokchom Ibotombi Institute of Teacher Education and Training; Damdei Christian College; Ng.
Mani College, Khurai and Institute of Co-operative Management, Lamphel.
Citing that the total amount to be distributed to the 4 Aided Colleges and 24 Private Colleges is Rs.66,50,000/-, officials of the Higher Education Department have conveyed to the authorities of the said colleges to come and collect their respective grant-in aid amount in time.
