Amit Shah leaves Imphal

Imphal, April 19 2015 :
The BJP national president Amit Shah and the National General Secretary left Imphal on Sunday morning concluding the scheduled two-day visit.
During his stay, Amit Shah had addressed a public meeting at Hao ground near Singjamei on Saturday evening.
On Sunday, Shah inaugurated a new office building in the compound of the BJP complex at Nityaipat Chuthek.
The national general secretary Ram Lal also inaugurated a temple within the complex.
Later Shah held talks with the state functionaries on various issues.
The main thrust was how to win some seats in the forthcoming Autonomous District Council elections.
In fact his visit here had an eye to the ADC polls to be held on June 1 .
He also told the upbeat state functionaries that the new membership drive had crossed 10 crore in the country and said that the rank and file should celebrate it.
Shah who had put up in Hotel Classics also held talks on Saturday night with the ranking functionaries of the Manipur unit on party related issues.
He had reportedly instructed the state unit functionaries to open BJP branches in all the districts of the state.
The state functionaries also apprised him of the various campaigns they have taken up to strengthen the party in Manipur.
Amit Shah and Ral Lal left Imphal at 10 am.
