Naga Hoho, NMA condemn

The Naga Hoho and the Naga Mothers' Association have condemned Assam Rifles for allegedly gunning down six NSCN/GPRN cadres on July 11 at Nginu Village, Arunachal Pradesh.
In a statement, the two Naga bodies claimed that the cadres were attacked while sleeping.
Saying that the existence of ceasefire in the Naga areas will lose its relevance if the Indian Army continues to perpetuate violence and killings, it asked the Government of India to come out with clarity about the coverage of ceasefire without procrastination.
The two bodies thanked the Governments of Nagaland, the Home Minister in particular and the Government of Manipur for the clearance of movement permit and for facilitating the return of the dead bodies to be buried, it said and also expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Ceasefire Monitoring Group (CFMG), Naga Students' Federation (NSF), Eastern Nagaland People Organisation (ENPO), Dimapur Naga Students' Union (DNSU), Kuki Inpi, Naga Council Dimapur, United Naga Council (UNC), Naga Women Union (NWU), All Naga Students' Association Manipur (ANSAM), Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL), Tangkhul Union Dimapur (TUD) and officials in Longding district administration of Arunachal Pradesh for their cooperation.
