Imphal, July 17 2020:
Four Cabinet Ministers of the Biren Government left Imphal for Delhi this afternoon.
Notably, the State Government has 12 Ministers including the Chief Minister.
They include five BJP Ministers including N Biren, four NPP Ministers, two NPF Ministers and one LJP Minister.
The four BJP Ministers other than Chief Minister N Biren are Th Biswajit, V Hangkhanlian, Th Radheshyam and Nemcha Kipgen.
The four went together to Delhi in one flight today.
Many political analysts and pundits are of the opinion that the four BJP Ministers' visit to Delhi under the prevailing political situation is highly significant.

What is evoking further political speculations is the four Ministers' brief meeting with Governor Dr Najma Heptulla before they left for Delhi.
Even though there is no major rift among the partners of the BJP-led coalition, it cannot be said that internal conflict or polarisation within BJP has been addressed effectively, sources informed.
Speaking to media persons at Imphal airport before leaving for Delhi, the four BJP Ministers said that they would meet Union Ministers who are relevant to their respective portfolios.
Maintaining that they would work in the interests of the State and the incumbent Government, they said they would submit a detailed report on the current affairs of the State Government to Central leaders.
However, on being enquired about the affidavit submitted by former Additional SP, NAB Thounaojam Brinda at the High Court of Manipur in connection with a high profile drug smuggling case, the BJP Ministers maintained that the case should be decided by the High Court and their journey to Delhi has nothing to do with the drug smuggling case.
