'Annie's Cafe' launched in Kpi

Kangpokpi, November 25 2022:
Young entrepreneur Annie Mimi Guite inaugurated her first business venture 'Annie's Cafe' at Nute Kailhang in Kangpokpi town this morning.
Annie Mimi Guite, who completed her BSc in Radio Imaging Technology at Aizawl left her job at Kangpokpi Christian Hospital to focus on building a successful business.
The 30-year-old fempreneur started making cakes during the COVID-19 induced lockdown at her residential home Nigui Inn at Lendou Veng.
Annie Mimi also completed a Barista training course.
'Annie's Cafe' was formally inaugurated by Rev Athang Touthang, Senior Pastor of Chongthu Baptist Centre Church Kangpokpi in the presence of Kangpokpi Town Committee chairman Angam Leivon, Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organizations president Hekim Hangshing and representatives of Kangpokpi Youth Union, senior citizens and others.
Interestingly, Annie Mimi also gets the support of her family members in her new venture.
Annie's father Haosei Guite said that it is impossible for the Government to provide jobs to all the educated youth and appealed to the youth to consider taking up entrepreneurship.
He also said that the Government, parents and community leaders must provide the environment for the youth to pursue business opportunities without any fear for their self reliance and also to improve the economy of the State.
KTC, KWWO, and various civil bodies leaders in Kangpokpi also appreciated the startup venture of Annie Mimi and hoped others to follow.
