State duo clears Combined Geo-Scientist Exam

Imphal, July 31 2021:
Nganaomi Khangrah and Mirinsing Angkang of Manipur have cleared the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)-conducted Combined Geo-Scientists Examination 2020, result of which was declared on Saturday.
In a statement, Manipur Geo-Scientist, a geo-science community for professionals and academicians belonging to Manipur, informed that out of 79 candidates selected in the exam Nganaomi and Mirinsing ranked 67th and 68th respectively.
Nganaomi, son of Tuisem Khangrah and Mayophy Khanghah of Shihai village in Ukhrul district, did his graduation from Hansraj College, Delhi University and MSc Tech from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad while Mirinsing, son of Ramyo Angkang and Amanah Angkang of Sinakeithei village in the same district did his graduation from DM College of Science, Imphal and MSc Tech from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad.
While conveying congratulations to the duo for bringing laurels to the state by cracking the examination through their hard work, dedication and perseverance, Manipur Geo-Scientist admin Dr Lukram Ingocha expressed that their results would inspire other youths of the state.
