Indefinite Moreh road bandh threatened

The Tengnoupal Village Authority has threatened to impose indefinite bandh along the Imphal - Moreh section of National Highway 102 from mid night of Nov 28 .
Speaking to media persons, Lunminthang Haokip, secretary, Tengnoupal Village Authority said that Tengnoupal villagers decided to impose an indefinite bandh along the Imphal - Moreh section of National Highway 102 from midnight of November 28 as no organization claims responsibility for planting and triggering an IED at Sita Lamkhai Assam Rifles check point near Tengnoupal village on Nov 17 .
While appealing all like minded civil organizations to extend cooperation, the village secretary further said that media, medical, religious and other emergency services would be exempted from the purview of the bandh.
