IPAK concerned over Sangai Fest Poster

Imphal, November 26 2014:
The Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) has denounced the wall poster of the ongoing sangai Festival in which a girl is featured in Saree attire.
In a statement, IPAK said such costume is not a traditional attire of Manipur.
Many individuals visiting the festival have complained to the IPAK regarding the poster and they also expect a display of Manipuri indigenous products in the festival, said a release today.
