Kaiphundai Naga villagers have claimed anomalies in the Public Distribution System ( PDS ), our correspondent reports.
Kaiphundai Naga village chairman Guangsinlung Meiringmei said the villagers have not yet received PDS commodities such as kerosene and sugar.
He also alleged that the Fair Price Shop agent of the area distributes rice at a much higher price (Rs 7 per kg) than that set by NFSA (Rs 3 per kg) .
The villagers have also not received the allocated rice under NFSA for July, August and September he said while appealing to the authorities concerned to look into the matter at the earliest.
