11th Manipur State League NEROCA FC edge past SSU

Maintaining their unbeaten streak, NEROCA FC, Sangakpham today squeezed out a thrilling 1-0 over SSU in the ongoing 11th Manipur State League.
With the win today, NEROCA FC were placed second in the league table with 16 points in six games while SSU slipped to the bottom of the table, with four points in seven games.
NEROCA FC are trailing two points behind reigning champion AIM, who already had 18 points in seven games.
After a barren first half, the winner for NEROCA FC was netted by Chenude Emmanuel in the 87th minute as his attempt on goal found its way.
SSU players strongly protested the goal contending that the goal was scored without fair play.
SSU struggled hard to restore parity.
But NEROCA FC defenders stood firm to deny any chance to SSU.
NISA and FC Zalen will lock horns in a crucial match tomorrow at 2pm.
