Baby girl found abandoned

2-year old baby girl was found abandoned at a tea stall located near Jiribam super market complex yesterday at around 5.30 pm, reports our correspondent.
Upon finding the child being abandoned, Y Sanjib Singh, president, AMSU Jiribam District Committee informed Jiribam police.
As the baby's health was not in good condition, Jiribam police have admitted the baby girl at Jiribam CHC.
According to GS Sharma, MO, Jiribam CHC, the baby was suffering from Rectal prolapse (condition in which the last part of the large intestine before it exits the anus) .
A team of doctors have been treating the baby and her condition has improved considerably.
Since the baby's health is reportedly in stable condition, the next step is to hand over or entrust the baby girl to a child care centre as no individual has come forward to claim the baby till now.
It may be noted that there is no child care centre in Jiribam.
