GMC edge out PBC 3-2 in Dangmei Majabi Super Div Football League

Imphal, September 26 2015 : GMC, Phubala edged out GDC, Thinungei by a margin of 3 goals to two in the ongoing 5th Dangmei Majabi Kabui Memorial Super Division Football League 2015, organised by the District Sports Association (DSA), Bishnupur, today at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.

A double from Kh Sadananda in the 23rd and 60th minute and a strike from Boipukam in the 9th minute gave the winning goals to GMC.

On the other side, the two goals for GDC came through Y Suraj and O Babumacha in the 4th and 80th minute.

P Johnson of GDC was booked during the match.

Bishnupur 1st Div League : NEYA, Ningthoukhong Kha blanked AKSA, Kwakta 2-0 while BFA, Nachou were given a walkover after their opponent TYA, Thinungei did not turn up for the match in the ongoing 2nd H Pishak Memorial 1st Division Football League, organised by the Districts Sports Association, Bishnupur, today at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.

In today's Group-A match, O Abung found the net twice in the 20th and 30th minute as NEYA, Ningthoukhong Kha clinched a comfortable 2-0 win against AKSA, Kwakta.

Peter of AKSA was cautioned for unsporting behaviour during the match.

Bishnupur 2nd Division League : MESDO, Tokpa drubbed SNFC, Parengba by a margin of 4 goals to one in the 9th N Balananda Memorial 2nd Division Football League, organised by the Districts Sports Association, Bishnupur, today at Mini Stadium, Bishnupur.

A brace each from KS Jeremia Imol (9th, 22nd) and Kalangum Dangmei in the 16th and 59th minute gave four goals to MESDO while the solitary goal of SNFC was scored by Lunhungam in the 54th minute.

Dilish Dangmei of MESDO and SNFC players Munthalen and Jedion were yellow carded during the match.
