Imphal, May 08 2012:
Two families who were poised for a violent confrontation on the charge of swindling a substantial amount of money by one party have been mollified after KLO/KLA intervened and mediated.
KLO/KLA summoned both Ngullen Khongsai of Kangpokpi and Ngulminthang Lhanghal of Ghaspani, Dimapur together with their families, and facilitated a joint meeting.
Ngullen is the proprietor of Kangpokpi based M/S Chongjahoi SK Oil Dealer and Ngulminthang is his nephew (son of his wife's sister) .
As reported earlier, Ngullen accused Ngulminthang of drawing Rs 31 lakhs from his bank account fraudulently without his knowledge.
Moreover, Ngulminthang, as stated by Ngullen, tried to take a loan of Rs two crores in the name of his SK Oil dealer firm.
These charges sparked a row between the two families resulting in a tense situation.
Taking serious note of the unfolding situation, KLO/KLA summoned both the families at a place in Sadar Hills where media persons were also present.
There, Ngullen admitted that whatever accusations he made against his nephew were false and baseless.
He said that he sought the help of Ngulminthang for lobbying for a loan.
