Imphal, October 03 2009:
In view of the current impasse jeopardising public life and impacting political culture of a demoncratic nation, the Association of Premier State College Seniors, Manipur, in its meeting held today resolved to communicate its intense desire to the Governor for pressing the need to discuss the issue in the State Legislative Assembly, general secretary of the Association Dr AK Chishti said in a statement.
Noting that the Assembly reflects the public opinion, Dr Chishti further observed that cutting short of students' career impedes intellectual growth in the Nation and the progress of a Nation does not lie in its vast natural resoruces, but in its intellectual growth.
