It may be noted that Committee on COVID-19 Manipur formed by the prominent CSOs namely CADA, UPF, NIPCO, AMSU, UPACO and MAPI Council have been striving earnestly to protect the people from COVID-19 pandemic and has been conducting mass awareness programmes, publicity campaigns, street vendor awareness campaigns, distributing AYUSH medicines, face masks, sanitizers etc across the State in the interest of the public and to help in curbing the further spread of Coronavirus.
The Committee on COVID-19 Manipur further expressed concern over the reckless attitude of many defying the Covid SOPs and protocol taking advantage of the relaxations of curfew and other restrictions which may become a major cause of the further spread of the dreaded virus putting the lives of many in danger.
Considering that there is no proper cure of the virus as of now, the committee appealed all to strictly adhere to Covid SOPs laid by the competent authorities concerned to stay protected from COVID-19 and contain its further spread to overcome the pandemic.
