With 11 persons confirmed positive out of 886 samples tested for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, the State logged daily positivity rate of 1.2 per cent.
The positive cases belong to Imphal East (3), Imphal West (1), Bishnupur (2), Thoubal (2), Senapati (2) and Tengnoupal (1) .
Following recovery, four Covid-19 positive people were discharged during the last 24 hours from JNIMS (1) and CCCs (3), according to a bulletin issued by Additional Director (Health) and Covid-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,37,081 (general population 1,32,067 and Central security personnel 5,014) .
This figure includes 40 active cases (general population 39 and Central security personnel 1) and 1,34,921 recovered cases (general population 1,29,915 and Central security personnel 5,006) .
The recovery rate stands at 98.42 per cent while the death toll remains unchanged at 2120 as there was no report of Covid related death during the last 24 hours.
A total of 281 D-type oxygen cylinders and 97 B-type oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of the State yesterday.
Currently, 44 (out of 190) Covid beds of RIMS and two (out of 300) of JNIMS are occupied.
Till Friday, 27,75,807 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the State (first dose 15,32,821, second dose 11,77,840 and precautionary dose 65,146) .
Till Friday, 50.31 per cent of the State's total eligible population has been vaccinated with double doses of Covid vaccine whereas 61.47 per cent has received the first dose.
