Imphal, September 03 2019: Manipur U-17 girls team represented by Nilamani English School have made themselves into the semi-finals of the 60th Subroto Cup Football Tournament held in New Delhi after thrashing Kerala girls by 5-1 goals in the quarter final match today.

Pool F winners, Manipur dominated the game throughout and led the first half 4-0 as Baby opened up the scoring early in the 8th minute.

Lisham Babina then doubled the team's advantage with a fine strike in the 16th minutes before Mollunsiam extended the lead to 3-0 three minutes latter.

The scoring spree continued as Kerala team did not show any sign of resistance and it was Kim Langhel who earned Manipur a 4-0 lead till the break with her goal in the 39th minute.

Kerala which were kept under pressure right from the beginning grabbed a face saving goal in the 52nd minute before Hoineihat of Manipur rounded off the scoring in the 56th minute of the match.
