Chandel Super Divn League : LYCC share spoils with HYC, 1-0 win for KDC

Imphal, September 03 2019: Liwa Changning Youth Cultural Club (LCYCC) were held to a 2-2 draw by Hnahringkhu Youth Club (HYC) while Kapaam Development Club (KDC) sealed a 1-0 win against New Wangparel Youth Club (NWYC) at Kapaam Football Ground in the second and the third matches of the ADC Chandel Trophy-2019, Super Division Football League being organised by District Sports Association Chandel.

The second match of tournament saw LCYCC and HYC take on other another almost with same pace and intent right from the beginning but either side failed to opened up the scoring to make it a 0-0 draw till the first half.

LCYCC however broke the deadlock after the restart when SK Bunghong found the net in the 51st minute of the match but HYC which were struggling on the other end managed to cancel out the lead in the 60th minute with the help of Kolni.

SK Bunghong rose again for his second goal of the tournament in the 69th minute to help LCYCC regained the lead but his effort went in vain when Liankhanla hit the equaliser for HYC again in the 78th minute to make it 2-2.The score remained unchanged till the final whistle despite relentess attempts in the late stage forcing both the teams to share the spoils.

Meanwhile in the third match of the tournament, Paocha's 30th minute strike was more than enough for KDC to earn first win of the tournament against NWYC.

2.Tampi FC vs KDC at 3 pm .
