National Yoga players feted

Nature Cure and Yoga Hospital Kongba Kshetri Leikai organised a felicitation ceremony for Yoga players of Imphal East, who bagged medals at the 32nd national Yoga Championship, and Yoga officials at Karak-Khong Yoga Centre in Kongba today.
The 32nd National Yoga Championship was organised by All India Yoga Culture Federation at Nagpur from August 17 to 19.The winners of the championship who were accorded a warm welcome were Huidrom Angou (Silver medal under the category of above 70 years category), Adhikarimayum Sorojini (Bronze medal under the same category) along with Laishram Khuraileima (5th position holder).
For the category of above 50 years, Chanam Maipak Meitei and Longjam Sanatombi bagged 4th position in their respective categories.
For the female category above 15 years, Gangmei Geigangmeilu secured 4th position and Kushi Aheibam secured 20th position in above 10 years category.
Kongba Uchekon Nongpok Gram Panchayat Pradhan Nongmaithem Jadumani, who graced the function as the chief guest, maintained that one must practice Yoga to keep the body and mind healthy as it also keeps diseases at bay.
Nature Care and Yoga Hospital secretary Dr K Basanta attended as the functional president and Lilong Higher Secondary School Principal Laishram Biren and Karakhong Yoga Centre president Laishram Khuraileima as guests of honour.
