Critics Forum Manipur observes 16th foundation day

Imphal, November 01 2021: The 16th foundation day of Critics Forum Manipur was observed at Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory located at Langthabal Kunja today.

The foundation day was observed in two sessions.

In the morning session, renowned Manipuri actor, Kangabam Tomba and vice president of the Critics Forum Manipur, Dr Nongthombam Premchand attended as the presidium members wherein the resource persons and sponsors of the five month long programme titled 'Leipung Phamba' organised by the forum were feted, said a press release issued by the Critics Forum Manipur.

And the second session was graced by Speaker, Yumnam Khemchand Singh and Dr Nongthombam Premchand as presidium members.

Renowned theatre personality, Heisnam ongbi Sabitri delivered a special lecture on the topic,'Eigi Theatre khongchat' as a part of the programme and she was presented a monetary award of Rs 5000 (sponsored by the president of the forum, Dr Lamabam Gojendra) and a shawl.

Also members of the Critics Forum Manipur who have earned many accolades namely Yumnam Rajendra, Dr Lamabam Gojendra, Loitongbam Brajamohon, Pukhrambam Khogendro, Ningombam Jadumani and Sanabam Thanil Leima were honoured today, added the press release.
