Five players of Manipur Amateur Karate-Do Association (MAKA) who had represented team India won five medals in the South Asian Karate-Do Championship 2013 held at Thimphu, Bhutan from October 28th � 29th 2013 under the aegis of Shito Ryu Karate-Do Bhutan and hosted by Bhutan Olympic Committee.
Mutum Nganthoi of Patsoi Part-1 won two gold medals in Kata & Kumite events of the of sub-junior 8 years below category.
Tongbra Dharmender Singh of Ngairangbam begged two silver medals in the senior 54 kg category of Kata & Kumite event.
Khumukcham Amarjit Singh of Kakching Laithagol won two silver medals in the junior 59 kg Kata & Kumite event.
Maimom Omesh Singh of Sanjam Khunou clinched one silver medal in Kumite event of Junior 50 kg.
Leimapokpam Dinachandra Singh of Wangkhei Pukhri Mapal won one bronze medal in the senior 58 kg of Kumite event.
Sempai L.Dinachandra of Manipur led the team as team captain.
