Moreh, October 03 2013:
Hill Tribal Council, Moreh president Jangmang Haokip today clarified that the 20 bags of rice that were aborted from being transported across the border by Myanmar nationals were illegally transported to Moreh by some individuals and the same has no connection with the mobile sale of PDS rice at Moreh.
Jangmang Haokip said there are some individuals who collected as much as rice during the distribution through mobile sale while there are some who did not get a single grain through the sale while appealing the authority concerned to bring more rice into the border town.
