NSU win 50-18 against SADA in State Men's Kabaddi C'ship opener

Imphal, December 18 2023: NSU-Khuman Lampak registered a 50-38 win over SADA (Sanjenbam) in the opening match (men's Group A) of the 70th Manipur State Senior Men and Women's Kabaddi Championship.

The men's competition of the championship organised by the Manipur State Kabaddi Association is participated by 7-teams clubbed into two groups.

WSWC (Wabagai), SADA (Sanjenbam) and NSU (Khuman Lampak) are clubbed in Group A while LYUC (Lourembam), VETO (Laphupat Tera), MPSC (Pangei) and AMDASCAM (Lilong) are clubbed in Group B .

Top two group stage winners will advance to the semis.

Meanwhile the women's competition beginning on December 20 will be a three team affair.

The teams participating in the tournament organised in the round robin league format are SADA, VETO and CARD (Wabagai) .
