Bereaved family accepts hospital apology

Churachandpur, June 02 2021: The bereaved family of one Lalneihoi alias Hoihnu Tombing, who died on May 31 in the isolation ward of the district hospital, has accepted the apology from the hospital authority.

The family of Hoihnu, w/o (L) T Jamzalam of Zenhang Lamka, and the district hospital officials led by the medical superintendent held a meeting on Wednesday under the initiative of YPA Zenhang Lamka Unit and YPA Village Task Forces after the deceased's family raised doubts over her death.

During the meeting, the medical superintendent and her team tendered apology which was accepted by the family members of the deceased.
