Imphal, September 16 2026:
The Manipur Naga Youth Organisation (MNYO) has appreciated Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho as an able Naga leader, and described him as a "beacon of hope for the indigenous people of Manipur" .
In a statement, the organisation said, "The MNYO stands with Dikho today in his efforts to defend the Constitution and general interest of the people of Manipur.
It takes courage for someone to denounce a colleague like Dy CM Nemcha Kipgen and this is what makes Dikho uniquely a guiding star among the elected Naga leaders" .
Being the wife of KNF-P chief Semtinthang Kipgen alias Thangboi Kipgen, "Nemcha Kipgen needs to redefine herself especially during such critical and trying times instead of having deep concern for only a certain community," it said.
It further alleged that the Department of Tribal Affairs and Hills is focusing all development projects only in Kangpokpi and other Kuki areas.
Such practices can detach the sympathy of the people of Manipur and the whole tribal family in particular.
"All anti-social elements including leaders involved directly challenging peace and development are a threat to democracy and humanity," it added.
The organisation also urged officials posted in the offices of Deputy Commissioners in the hill districts to attend offices regularly and work with dedication and sincerity.
