Imphal, April 13 2010:
The total bandd called by Manipur Tribal Joint Action Committee Against Election under Unwanted District Council Act in all tribal inhabited districst of Manipur affected traffic along the National Highways passing through Tamenglong district, reports our Tamenglong correspondent.
The bandh also affected the construction work of rail line from Jiri to Imphal.
No vehicle movement were seen at National Highway 53 .
Two vehicles were reportedly damaged by suspected bandh supporters while more than 20 others were detained.
