3rd Chandel District Forum Meet held

Kakching, August 18 2015: The 3rd District Forum Meet on Public Schemes and Projects for village leaders, Self Help Groups, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Officials of District Line Department was held at the DRDA's Conference Hall located at DC Office Complex, Chandel on Tuesday.

The programme was organised by North East India Committee on Relief & Development (NEICORD) and ACTED India with the objective of improving access to information and delivery of public schemes in remote and backward districts of North East India.

Diring the programme, District Coordinator, M Wanlalkhup elaborated on RTI and the needs of Aadhaar Card.

And various problems and grievances redressal issues were discussed and resolved to bring a change in the Chandel district set-up.

Medical and Agriculture Department officials, various prominent members of NGO, village leaders and student leaders of the district attended the programme.
