Paddy stacks burnt at Keirao Loukol

Imphal, November 07 2023:
Unknown miscreants set fire to stacks of paddy crops kept for threshing at Keirao Bitra Kharou Loukol under the jurisdiction of Irilbung police station on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
The paddy stacks gathered from two 'sangams' belonged to Ningthoujam Dinesh (43), son of late Ibopishak, of Keirao Bitra Makha Leikai.
Following the unfortunate incident, Dinesh lodged a formal complaint at Irilbung police station.
The approximate value of the damaged paddy crop is said to be around Rs 1 lakh.
