The Kuki Inpi Manipur reacting to statements of underground Lenin published in local papers on August 6, and August 7, has refuted the assumed disclosure made by underground Lenin as totally baseless and does not hold any truth in his charges and said his charges should not be believed.
Kuki Inpi Manipur in a press release, signed by Information Secretary, P Lupheng said that at any point of time the Commander in Chief (C-in-C) of UKLF had never threatened the president of Kuki Inpi Manipur for calling Kuki National Leaders' Consultation and.
also asserted that UKLF has not banned the KUKI Inpi, the apex body of Kuki tribes.
The press release also denied any telephonic conversation between C-in-C of UKLF and president of Kuki Inpi Manipur on any matter.
The press release declared that Lenin is not known to the Kuki Inpi Manipur and charged that he is a desperate person who has made a mockery of himself by going against his comrades and further alleged that from his conduct and statements he is trying to sow seeds of discord between the Kuki Inpi and Kuki revolutionary groups.
