Kakching, November 04 2023: District Health Society (DHS), Kakching conducted a Mega Health Mela at Community Health Centre (CHC), here on Saturday, as part of Ayushman Bhav Campaign which started from September 17 and continue till December 31 .

The second health camp organised as a part of the campaign was held under the supervision by doctors, nurses and other medical staff of Shija Hospitals and Research Institute (SHRI), Langol and DHS with over 230 persons including many from relief camps in Kakching examined for obstetrics & gynaecology, medicine, paediatrics, surgeiy, ENT, eye, psychiatric and skin related issues.

During the camp, various tests including ultrasound were conducted and medicines provided to the needy.

Speaking to media persons, CHC MO in-charge Dr Khangembam Gopeshwar informed that the health mela Was conducted in view of lack of specialist doctors in the district.

He also informed that similar camps will be conducted on December 2 and 30 .
