Condolences continue to pour in for Chingtham Anandkumar

Condolences continue to pour in mourning the unfortunate demise of Chingtham Anandkumar, Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Moreh who was shot dead by a suspected sniper bullet on October 31 while he was overseeing the construction of a helipad at Eastern Shine School ground in Moreh.
The All Manipur Teli Association (AMTA) has expressed profound sorrow over the horrific & senseless murder of Chingthang Anandkumar and demanded justice for the brave heart.
"The tragedy has left our entire community in shock & mourning.
Our hearts go out to the bereaved family during this difficult time", said AMTA in a release.
AMTA shared that no family should have to endure the pain & loss that Anand's family is experiencing.
"We firmly believe that justice will prevail, and we demand a thorough and swift investigation into this heinous crime", it added.
The association also asserted that it is "our" collective responsibility to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice and held accountable for their actions.
AMTA further called upon the law enforcement agencies both Central & State agencies, to leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of justice.
Moreover, the Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of All Manipur Trade Unions' Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Government Employees' Organisation (AMGEO), has expressed its deepest condolence on the sudden & untimely demise of Chingthang Anandkumar Singh.
A two minute silence was observed at the office of the JAC of AMTUC & AMGEO Manipur at Babupara in memory of the heroic soldier, said the JAC in a release.
The JAC also shared the grief of the bereaved family and prayed that may the departed soul rest in peace.
