Kakching, November 09 2023: In continuation of monthly health check-up camp for pregnant women organised under Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA), Community Health Centre (CHC), Kakching conducted a health check-up of pregnant women at the centre on Thursday.

Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of the camp, Kakching CHC MO in-charge Dr Khangembam Gopeshwor informed that 160 pregnant women underwent checkup led by three gynaecology doctors - Dr Lenin Luwang, Dr Deepak Naorem and Dr Robindro Hijam supported by nurses, ASHA workers and other staff.

Ultrasound were also conducted to check any high risk pregnancies, while nutritional diet was distributed amongst the pregnant women attending the camp, he added, while appealing all pregnant women to avail benefit of the PMSMA under which check-ups are held on 9th of every month.
