Aid extended to displaced people

Imphal, December 12 2023:
Many continues to extend relief materials to the displaced people who are taking shelter in relief camps.
Led by its principal Dr Narengbam Rajivkumar, Ibot-ombi Institute of Education Canchipur BEd teacher trainees donated stationery items to the displaced students staying in the relief camp set up at Institute of Rural Education, Wangjing while a team of One India Foundation led by its national general secretary (organization) Meitram Sanatomba provided essential items to inmates of Sendra relief camp.
Seva Bharati Manipur and Manipur Seva Samiti also provided blankets and study materials to the displaced children and people taking shelter in the shelter homes run by the government at Sawombung on Tuesday and also at the relief camp in Lamboikhongnangkhong on Sunday.
On the other hand, Sharing & Developing Group (S&D Group) extended a sum of Rs 10,000 to the family of late L Abemcha, who died after being hit by a bullet fired by Kuki militants.
Diamond Donors also provided relief materials to inmates of the relief camp opened at Covid Care Centre, Loukoipat.
