Moyon King Kuurkam's monument unveiled

Imphal, November 07 2023: The monument of Moyon King Ngoruw Kuurkam, who was accorded Godly figure and a valiant king of the Moyon, was unveiled by retired IRS Kachui Tomothy Zimik, during a function held at BAP head office in Chandel district on Tuesday.

As part of the function, writer and researcher reverend Dr Ng Kingingthung Noyon narrated the life history .of King Ngoruw Kuurkam while a book on his life Was released by Phungamla Zimik.

The function was also attended by Chandel Naga People's Organisation (CNPO) president RD David Boyes, BAP president Chinir Moyon, village chiefs and pastors.

Traditional songs and dances of Moyon community were also showcased during the function.
