Thoubal, March 30 2024: A 20-day-long workshop cum production on 'Importance of Chingkheirol Exercise' organised by the Thoubal branch of Cultural Research and Training Institute (CRTI) under Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi, Ministry of Culture, Government of India concluded at its Thoubal Wangmataba Sorok Mathak College Road premises on Saturday The event was attended by Huyen Lallon Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association Irilbung director padmashree K Sanathoiba Sharma as chief guest, Sahitya Akademi awardee N Sunita Devi as president and Wangmataba ward no.2 member L Bijen as guest of honour.

During the event, Thang-Ta instructor N Phajabi Devi highlighted the objective of organising the workshop.

As part of the event, productions of the workshop including Chingkheirol Exercise, Maibi jagoi, Thang Leiteng Apunba Haiba, Thangbi Yannaba, Sori Thinnaba, Thang Chungoi Yannaba, Ta Khoushaba and Thang Ahum Yannaba were showcased.
