Imphal, March 30 2024: A 55-year-old man was found dead, hanging inside his rented room at Mantripukhri Bazar, under the jurisdiction of Heingang police station, in the morning of March 26 .

The deceased, identified as Chandra Bahadur Gurung, son of late Padam Bahadur Gurung from Kangpokpi Toribari, was residing in a rented house cum warehouse at Mantripukhri Bazar, belonging to one Rajkumar Manoj.

Upon receiving the report, a team from Heingang PS arrived at the scene, accompanied by forensic experts who conducted a thorough investigation.

A case has been registered at Heingang Police Station regarding the incident.
