99 seek exemption from poll duty in Bishnupur

Bishnupur, March 30 2024:
In connection with the ensuing General Elections to the 18th Lok Sabha 2024, the District Medical Board of Bishnupur under the leadership of Chief Medical Officer, Dr L Raichandra, conducted a meticulous examination of polling personnel seeking exemption from election duty on medical ground.
The board, comprising a diverse team of specialists including a senior psychiatrist, an orthopaedic surgeon, a senior surgeon, an ENT surgeon, an ophthalmologist, an MD in medicine, and a gynaecologist, evaluated each case with due diligence.
Altogether 99 polling personnel, 47 male and 52 female, underwent the comprehensive assessment by the medical board.
The entire procedure was carried out in the conference hall of DC Office, Mini Secretariat, Bishnupur, with the DEO and the ADEO overseeing the process to ensure transparency and fairness.
