MSFDS invites screenwriters for screen lab course

Imphal, September 19 2022: Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS) had announced its six-month, intensive fiction feature film screenwriting lab from October which is a hand-on, intensive, project oriented screenwriting lab for Manipuri feature length, fiction film.

MSFDS secretary Sunzu Bachaspatimayum informed in a release that the incubation-mentorship lab will be mentored by acclaimed screenwriters of film industry.

Experienced as well as aspiring fiction screenwriters interested to join the lab may submit preliminary online submission which includes one-sentence log-line, synopsis (400 words), narrative outline or treatment (2500 words) and story intent & motivation (500 words) within October 15, 2022 .

The final pitch of incubated screenplays is scheduled to be held on March 30-31, 2023 with attractive cash awards, grants and commitment for production for the outstanding screen plays.

Details of the screenlab are available at MSFDS office at Palace Gate or on MSFDS websites, namely www.msfds.org and www.
