JNIMS Committee, others condemn attack

Relief Committee, JNIMS and several others have condemned the firing attack at JNIMS director Dr Laishram Deben's residence located at Kakwa by unknown miscreants on November 6.JNIMS Relief Committee, Indian Medical Association Manipur State Branch, Seven Langthabal United Clubs and People Alliance for Social Services have also urged all concerned not to intimidate and threaten the people amidst these trying times.
The ability to give treatment to more than 2,000 people who got injured in the ethnic conflict by the Relief Committee is all because of JNIMS director Dr Laishram Deben and medical superintendent Dr Kh Lokeshwor.
Moreover, they took vital responsibilities in delivering of 175 babies at JNIMS free of cost, they mentioned and condemned intimidating people who are shouldering responsibilities for ensuring healthcare of the public amidst the unrest situation.
Urging the state government to prevent miscreants from carrying out such acts of transgression on medical fraternity and promote peace in the state, they also exhorted all concerned to address any issues through dialogue.
