Imphal, November 07 2023: The All Manipur Christian Organization (AMCO) in collaboration with Meitei Christian Churches Council, Manipur (MCCCM) organised a "Prayer Fellowship for Peace and Harmony" at Tangkhul Baptist Church, Imphal today with leaders and members from various inter-denominational Churches of Manipur.

AMCO president Rev Simon Raomai extended solidarity to all the innocent victims of the present conflict and observed a moment of silence as a mark of condolence for the departed souls.

Rev Dr Losii Mao, general secretary of MBC, Most Rev Dominic Lumon former Archbishop of Manipur, Rev O Kumar, MCCC president and Pastor Khambilung Malangmei, Stewardship Director of SDA, Manipur, Pashei, president of SDA, Pastor Mano Oinam, prayer secretary of AMCO, Pastor L Bitam, co-convenor of relief committee of MCCCM and Rev A Shyam also attended the prayer session among others.

At the session, Rev Simon Raomei requested every individual to lend a hand in finding the two teenage boys who went missing on Sunday (November 5) .

He also appealed to one and all to hand over the boys to relevant authorities or people whom they trust in case they come across them (the missing teenagers) .

Around 90 people from various districts, especially displaced believers from Moreh and Churachandpur, were given cash assistance by AMCO in partnership with "The Cry of the Spirit Ministries International (Living Church Nepal)" .

Rev L Timothy Phaomei announced invocation prayer while Rev Dr H Rakhon, advisor to MCCCM, shared the benediction of the programme.

Ether Shimray, event manager of AMCO, moderated the session.
