Stating that the BJP has turned India into a restless country by meting out injustice to the citizens , the AICC secretary maintained that the saffron party has also brought shame to the economy and socio-political system of the country.
The unemployment rate has risen under the BJP Government, he said and added that the Modi Government has also not taken up any wellfare scheme for the minority, apart from weakening the agricultural sector.
There are 30 lakhs vacant posts at different Government departments and cor- porations but the Government still can't fill them, he said and added that the figure of unemployed youth has risen from 1 crore in 2012 to 4 crores in 2022 .
Cases of suicide among unemployed graduates and post graduates have also increased, Ranajit stated.
Maintaining that the price of all essentials have increased by 50 per cent on average under the reign of BJP Government, the AICC leader said that the BJP Government has failed to deliver its promise of doubling farmers' income by 2022 .
About 700 farmers have committed suicide after the formation of BJP Government in 2014, Ranajit stated and claimed that the Modi Government is interested only in big corporates and industrialists.
The nexus between BJP and Adani Group of Companies is detrimental to those who run small and medium industries, the Congress leader said.
The debt of the Central Government has increased from Rs 55 lakh crore in 2014 to Rs 185 lakh crore currently, he pointed out.

BJP has been undermining democracy with its greed to stay in power using money and muscle power, he said and added that the saffron party has failed to maintain communal harmony and give economic justice to the people.
Continuing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised to bring the black money of Congress leaders and deposit Rs 15 lakh each in the bank account of every Indian at the time of Parliamentary elections, Ranajit claimed that BJP came to power in 2014 by selling lies to the people.
