2nd MNCA U-19 Men's Tourney : ESU keep quarter-final hopes alive with 124 run victory over RULE

Hanjabam Naoba produced an all round performance as ESU, Wangkhei kept quarter-final hopes alive in the ongoing 2nd MNCA U-19 Men's tournament with a crushing 124 run win over RULE, Meitram at Lairenjam Public Ground.
ESU, who suffered previous game defeat, posted 166/9 in 40 overs after being let to bat first and bundled RULE for 42 within 16 overs runs for the second win in three matches.
With the result, ESU are third in the Group standing behind RCA who have also won twice in three matches.
Contributions from A Jenash 30, Rehan Khan 22, Soibam Jenit 22 not out and H Naoba 20 guided ESU to 166 before Hanjabam Naoba enjoyed a six wicket haul (6/18) and Bishomcha Khundrakpam picked three (3/10) to dismantle RULE batters.
H Naoba was eventually adjudged man of the match.
At Model Hr Sec and Oriental College ground, TCMDC consolidated themselves on top of Group B table by registering their third straight win.
They held toss winners PCC to 141/9 in 40 overs on the back of S Albert (3/27), L Valindra (2/16) and N Richer (2/21) who shared 7 wickets and eased to winning 145 for 6 wickets in 27.5 overs thanks to contributions from T Nganba 31 not out, S Albert 28 not out, K Ringku 26 and P Rohit 21 .
CRAU, Khamnam Bazar also sealed their third straight Group A win by beat YUCC, Kwakeithel Moirangpurel by 4 wickets thanks to a half century knock from Kh Prakash (59 off 66) and five-for by Boocker Kangjam (5/33 in 8 overs) at Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground.
