Meet resolves to protect territorial integrity

The Meetei community and Meitei Pangal (Manipuri Muslims) residing in Yairipok Changamdabi area convened a joint meeting in connection with the attempt of armed Kuki militant to disintegrate Manipur on Thursday and unanimously resolved to safeguard the territorial integrity of the state under all cost.
The meeting which was organised by Changamdabi Muhammadan Club (CMC) adopted a number of resolutions which included - clubs, Ulma and people of Changamdabi area will provide moral support in ail efforts to bring about a solution to the prevailing situation, people of Changamdabi will not indulge in any activity during the ethnic crisis which could affect any other community, people involved in any unwanted activity will be outcasted from the village, villager of Changamdabi should stop loitering uselessly during night, to protect the territorial integrity of Manipur, and Changamdabi villagers will not remain silent in any attempt to destroy the unity of Manipur.
The meeting was also attended by Changamdabi GP ex-pradhan Md Imran Shah, Apunba Nupi Khunai Lamjing Meira Lup president Ibetombi, Khukhampal Thoubal district president W Maipak, secretary Ak Chitreshwori Devi, CMC advisor Md Sukur, Tanjim Ulama president Dr Mufti Noor Salim, MJYC Malom advisor Md Yashin and CMC advisor Md Ansar Ali as presidium members.
