Bodies condole deaths

The Manipur Ex-MLAs Welfare Association has extended its deep condolence to the bereaved family of former minister Konsam Tomba, who passed away on Wednesday.
Members of the association also conducted a condolence meet and observed two minutes silence in memory of the departed soul.
The condolence meet was attended by former MLAs BD Behring (association president), O Joy Singh, Francis Ngajokpa, Bijoy Koijam, D Korungthang, Khasim Ruiva and Dr Kh Ratankumar.
The association also provided Rs 30,000 to Tomba's bereaved family.
On the other hand, Heingang Thongjao Lairembi Puja Committee has extended its heartfelt condolence over the demise of its president Ayekpam Mukta Singh.
A Committee release informed that a condolence meeting was held at its Heingang Awang Leikai office premises on Wednesday during which a two-minute silence was observed as mark of respect to the departed soul.
While sharing the grief of the beavered family, a sum of Rs 10,000 was donated to the family, the release added.
Meanwhile, Manipur Amateur Body Builders Association (MABBA) has extended its condolence over the demise of its former advisor Gojendra Nongmeikapam, who was also IBBF national judge.
A MABBA release informed that a meeting to condole the demise of Gojendra was held at the residence of Association general secretary on Wednesday during which a two-minute silence was observed as mark of respect to the departed soul.
