Situation improving in Churachandpur, says SP

Maintaining that the law and order situation in Churachandpur district is improving gradually with no report of violence since the last 10 days, Churachandpur SP Karthik Malladi has appealed to the people of the district for cooperation and not to indulge in illegal activities.
Briefing media persons over the security situation in the district at his office chamber, Churachandpur SP Karthik Malladi said that security situation has improved perceptibly since the last 10 days with no report of any violent incident.
Seeking cooperation from the public, the SP while informing that large number of central forces have been deployed in the district, appealed to one and all not to roam around with arms.
Stating that measures are bding put in to recover the looted 400 plus arms and ammunition, he further appealed to all not to indulge in illegal activities.
While expressing gratitude to the CSOs, village chiefs and others for providing the desired cooperation which will help in securing the border town, the SP urged all concerned to contact him and the OC of Singngat and Sangaikot among others if at all there is any security concern in any of the fringe areas.
Meanwhile, sit-in protests were held at New Lamka near Dorcas hall.
Medical COlege near district hospital and at the site of the Wall of Remembrance.
The sit-in, unlike other days, was used as a place for mass prayer considering the talk carried out between the government of India and SoO groups.
The sit-in also prayed for bringing a positive outcome.
