Essential items distributed, monetary aid extended

Continuing their humanitarian service, many continue to distribute essential items and extend monetary aid to those in need.
In response to the ongoing violence in Manipur which has caused numerous injuries and casualties, Raj Medicity received a donation of Rs 50,000 from Loktak Wood Industry, Wabagai proprietor Kh Raju and Rs 50,000 from Rajo Saw Mill, Meitram proprietor Th Jadumani Singh.
On the other hand, Imphal East Deputy Commissioner Khumanthem Diana extended a sum of Rs 50,000, Manipur Sahitya Parishad, Imphal donated Rs 25,000, one Thoidingjam Budhachandra of Khurai Thoidingjam Leikai donated Rs 5,000 and Yumkhaibam Modhuchandra of Khurai Puthiba Leikai donated Rs 1,000 to Relief Committee JNIMS to help in providing free treatment for people injured in the conflict.
Vivekananda Kendra Manipur Vibhag Imphal Branch provided essential items including food supplements to relief camps set up at Lamding Higher Secondary School, Heirok Higher Secondary School and Rice Research Station, Wangbal Khangabok.
Meanwhile, shops at Shopping Complex Pologround Maning extended essential items to village volunteers of Leikinthabi Awang Leikai, Koirengei, Pukhao Khabam, Toronglaobi and Kadangband part-II who are defending their villages day and night from the attacks of Kuki militants.
