KIM for NIA probe into all cases

Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has commended the prompt decision to hand over investigation into the Kwakta IED blast to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) but lamented that many other similar cases of higher magnitude involving terrorists ' and terror organisations have not been probed despite having clear evidences.
The KIM submitted a memorandum in this regard to Union home minister Amit Shah through the security advisor Kuldiep Singh and urged the government of India to be impartial, fair and show some level of promptness in dealing with incidents related to act of terrorism during the course of the ethnic violence since May 3.Among the incidents related to act of terrorism KIM mentioned in the memorandum include open threat to Kukis by leader of a Meetei organisation in a news channel, declaration of national war against Chin-Kuki Narco terrorists and random use of weapons and indiscriminate firing/ shelling on Kuki civilians at Pholjang/ Gothol/Kwakta area on May 27 and Sugnu Nazareth on May 30 .
